I had to replace the air filter in my 86 savage last week. The mechanic told me about a new way, to save me $25.00! (Can.) I tore out the baffles in the old one and installed a piece of air filter foam. I coated both sides with PJ1 foam filter oil.(It is very gooey!Wear gloves!)Total cost $5.00. It works great! Apache.
